To ensure the widest possible reach and uptake of this year’s National Fitness Day there are two approaches to upload both physical and virtual activities into the National Fitness Day 2020 Activity Finder.

1. OpenActive – powered by open data:

if your leisure management or booking system is OpenActive enabled you just need to ask them to open your data in time for National Fitness Day. If your system is not, please request that they become OpenActive enabled for inclusion into the Activity Finder. Alternatively, there are a number of systems already OpenActive enabled, and some are offering their services for free for this campaign, such as Playwaze and Participant. These systems are very simple to use and can help get your activities onto the National Fitness Day Activity Finder. To learn more about OpenActive and how you can open your data to benefit beyond just this National Fitness Day click here.

Please note: If your activity or event is not open to the general public e.g. you are a school, college or workplace, please click here for an alternative route to access the National Fitness Day Toolkit.

2. Register via Spreadsheet

Similar to previous years you can still register by completing our spreadsheet and submitting it back to us. This year, however, we will be plugging the information provided back to us into an open data enabled format via a third-party system, allowing you to edit your activity or event at any time, as well as enabling you to feature on the Activity Finder.

Complete the short form below to download the National Fitness Day activity upload spreadsheet. Once complete send that back to us via email at nationalfitnessday@ukactive.org.uk

Once you’ve submitted your spreadsheet back to us via email – you’ll then receive access to the official National Fitness Day Digital Toolkit, full of helpful marketing assets to support you and be notified by Open Sessions to verify your account, to manage your submission.
